In the dry and rugged desert landscape of Ferus Machina, where water is scarce and resources are slowly dwindling, our human race struggles to survive.  Most wildlife has already gone extinct, replaced only by rusted machine mimics who bring some semblance of balance in the dying ecosystem. Legends of the old world speak of lumbering creatures grazing on lush grasslands and agile carnivores on the hunt for their next meal. But now there are no more predators and no more prey. Only we humans remain. We are the hunters and we are the hunted.
